About the Department

The Public Works Department employs a public works director and public works technicians.

The Public Works Department performs maintenance and certain construction operations on various infrastructures, including

• Street repair
• Snow plowing
• Traffic signs
• Storm sewers
• Alleys
• Parks

This upkeep of maintenance is so as not to affect the safety, health and welfare of the citizens of Fox Lake.

The hours for the Department of Public Works is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
